Milestone Golf Tournament 26-27
BAPS FOUNDATION CELEBRATES HIGHEST-EARNING GOLF TOURNAMENT TO DATE
25th Annual Golf Tournament Raises Over $54,000 for Broken Arrow Schools
(Broken Arrow, OK, October, 2026) Broken Arrow Public Schools (BAPS) Foundation is celebrating a major milestone following the 25th Annual Golf Tournament, which raised a record-breaking $54,000 in support of Broken Arrow Public Schools.
Dedicated to enriching educational opportunities across the district, the BAPS Foundation originally established the golf tournament to fund Teacher Grants. Twenty-five years later, the event continues to be a cornerstone of the Foundation’s fundraising efforts, bringing together local leaders, educators, and community sponsors.
This year’s tournament was hosted at Cherokee Hills Golf Club by Friends of the Foundation sponsor Cherokee Nation Businesses. In their first year playing at this course, golfers enjoyed 18 holes, two flight prize divisions, on-the-course games, and lunch—all while supporting Broken Arrow students and educators.
Adding to the competitive spirit of the day, BAPS Superintendent Chuck Perry was once again on the leaderboard, playing alongside major sponsor Miller-Tippens Construction, to post one of the tournament’s lowest scores! Winning teams took home prize packages featuring round-of-four golf certificates to six premier local golf courses.
“We are deeply grateful to our sponsors, players, and community partners who made our 25th anniversary tournament our most successful yet,” said Russell Peterson, Golf Tournament Chairman and BAPS Foundation founding member. “Proceeds go back into Broken Arrow classrooms, empowering teachers and expanding opportunities for Broken Arrow students.”
